A Year of Service, Impact & Community

2024-25 was a defining year for the Rotary Club of Usilampatti. From life-saving health camps to educational support and environmental drives, our members showed up — week after week — to make a real difference.

Highlights of the Year

January 2025 — Blood Donation Drive
Our biggest single-day health initiative. Over 150 units of blood collected in partnership with local hospitals and blood banks. More than 200 volunteers participated.

February 2025 — School Supply Distribution
200 students across three government schools in Usilampatti received complete school kits including notebooks, stationery, and bags. Teachers and parents expressed deep gratitude.

March 2025 — Free Eye Check-up Camp
Over 300 residents received free eye examinations. Early-stage vision problems were identified and treated. Spectacles were distributed to those in need at no cost.

April 2025 — Tree Plantation Drive
300 saplings planted along the Main Road corridor with the support of local school students and municipal volunteers. A greener Usilampatti begins here.

May 2025 — Community Welfare Drive
Our largest welfare initiative reached over 500 vulnerable families with food kits, essential supplies, and personal welfare visits across 5 villages.

June 2025 — Elderly Care Visit
Organized heartfelt visits to elderly care homes providing health screenings, grocery kits, and warm companionship to senior citizens in our community.
